Watercolor on Heavyweight Textured Paper
This piece contains two different layers adhered together to give a unique dimensional quality. After painting the design with watercolors, the artist then delicately cuts and adheres the layers together.
This piece was inspired by traditional interior design and the use of hanging a grid of botanical studies on a wall. The rose colored trim was painted to look like jacquard ribbon creating a grid separating each leaf.
