This piece contains three different layers adhered together to give a unique dimensional quality. After painting the design with watercolors, the artist then cuts and adheres the layers together.
Forever inspired by her love of patterns, the artist incorporated the Chinoiserie style to create the blue and white jars. The sage green pattern was adapted based on the traditional Delft tiles. The oval cutouts allow the eyes to be drawn to the jars while still being complemented by the background pattern.
