Inspired by the classic novel and film, The Little Women, the artist painted tiny dried oranges weaved together. This pattern compliments the familiar ginger jars - a staple in the artist's own mother's home.
This piece contains two different layers adhered together to give a unique dimensional quality. After painting the design with watercolors, the artist then cuts and adheres the layers together.
