Aren't magnolias just enchanting? Growing up, I thought they were an exotic species. Surely a tree that majestic couldn't be native to little ol' east coast US? But alas, Magnolias have several areas of the world where they are native, including the humble east coast. How lucky are we, to have their massive branches, stately waxy leaves, and their blossoms the size of volley balls. I just love them. If you share my love for magnolias I hope you enjoy this painting!
