Alix Baldwin
Origins
Alix Baldwin is a self-taught abstract painter who was born and raised in Paris, France and currently resides on the Jersey Shore.
Her artistic journey began as a form of self-expression and therapy to process her emotions, intuitively using them to guide each brushstroke. Alix’s art is characterized by a deep sense of spontaneity as she allows her inner voice to drive her creative process. Each piece is a balance of bold and delicate gestural strokes that create dynamic compositions full of energy and movement.
She is now at the beginning of an exciting emerging phase which allowed her to exhibit her work at in-person and online art shows, and in a Parisian Gallery (Francis Barlier - April 2023) and local in-person events on the Jersey Shore. Alix also participated in both 2023 and 2024 Spring and 2023 Fall Emerging Artist Shows from the Scouted Studio.
Alix is a wife and mother to a special needs toddler. She allows herself some time to paint in the evenings, after her day job and bedtime stories.

I aim to create bold, elevated, and impactful work to offer a moment of connectedness to the viewer. I hope for everyone to find the message in my work, to feel at peace and courageous.
