I'm a Texan living in Tennessee, and I was deeply impacted by the flooding in Texas in July. This yellow flower is a response to my love for the Texas Hill Country, the family and friends who live there, and also my love of wildflowers in general. Set in an evening sky, wind gently sways the sheaves of grass in an embrace. My hope is for this piece to be a warm resting place in your home.
