Biography

My interest and love for art began many years ago when my husband and I began collecting art for our first home.  We started researching local artists and discovered so much talent and creativity.  My love and respect for art turned in to a desire to create and inspire.

A native of Louisiana and an LSU graduate, I currently reside in Lafayette, LA with my husband and two children.

Artist Statement

My work can best be described as a mixture of relaxing and joyful color.  I am overwhelmingly inspired by colors and their relationship to each other on a canvas.  The process of applying beautiful layers that eventually create a painting makes me so happy.  And if I can share that painting with someone else, it is even better! 

To create my paintings, I primarily use a combination of acrylic, oil & wax, gold leaf, as well as collage elements and shiny resin finishes.
