Gaby is a self-taught abstract artist who started painting after the birth of her daughter. She found painting to not only be a fulfilling creative outlet, but it has helped her work through the “baby blues.”
She is captivated by using different mediums, celebrating colors, and the never-ending process of creating. Gaby loves to work with acrylics and watercolor, but also enjoys the complexity that mixed media brings to the painting. As a detail fanatic, she loves creating pieces that the more you look, the more layers you uncover.
She lives outside of Washington D.C. in Loudoun County, Virginia with her husband Cory, little girl Ellie and flat-coated retriever, Bosley.
