A native of Boulder, Colorado, Jaime grew up with a love for art at a young age. After receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Colorado, she moved to California to be closer to the ocean and has been working as an artist ever since.
Jaime's pieces often combine beach figures with patterns and playful color combinations. She finds inspiration from fashion, design, coastal style and bright colors. Her artwork features clean lines and frequently plays off of the relationship between positive and negative space.
Jaime's goal is simply to "create colorful artwork that makes people feel happy and evokes memories of a certain person or place personal to each viewer."
She currently resides with her husband and three children in San Diego where she gets endless inspiration from the coast.
