Mel Middleton

Mel is an architect and oil painter living in Greenville, SC.  She is married to her college sweetheart, a retired Marine Helicopter Pilot.  They have two beautiful children and one very friendly lab.

Her subjects tend to be of places or things that have strong emotional ties to memories of someone or someplace dear. Stories that she works to translate onto the canvas.  

Mel enjoys painting architectural subjects, landscapes, florals and the occasional abstract.  When she is not architecting or painting, you can find her either in her garden, hiking along the trails in the Upstate of SC, or traveling somewhere fun with her peeps.
