"Eye of the Storm" 12"x12" acrylic and oils on linen, framed in a white floater frame.
Growing up in South Florida, we had our fair share of hurricanes. The biggest one I can remember is hurricane Andrew which came through in 1992. I was home from college and my mom and I hid behind a mattress in the back bedroom while my father sat in his easy chair in the family garage turned den (aka his smoking room). Good times.
