This collection of watercolor and ink floral portraits celebrates the timeless beauty of six unique flowers. When painting these portraits, I begin with a rough plan but let the flow of the watercolor and ink determine the direction of each piece. Creating these florals is a journey of discovery as my vision gradually takes shape through observation and the dance of the pigments with the water and my brush. I seek to convey the living experience of these subjects so that viewers can join in my fascination with these everyday wonders.
