I got to travel to the West Coast about 8 years ago and it was my first time seeing that side of the country. Everything felt like a magical new discovery. We ended up at a rose garden in Portland that I thought would be a quick in-and-out visit. But we got there and I was mesmerized by all the different colors, varieties, and textures. The line of mountains in the distance made the setting that much more remarkable. Spending an afternoon strolling through this garden remains a simple, special memory.
