About the Collection
Plucked from the artist's garden, these delicate petals spent months pressed between the pages of the Hadden's favorite hard cover books. After months spent absorbing the book's stories, the petals slowly went through a transformation. Their hues changed, their colors deepened, and they became paper thin. Releasing them from their pages, Hadden meticulously rebuilt each bloom petal by petal. Each hydrangea bloom is a one-of-a-kind captured memory. Hadden incorporates hand painted watercolor stems into each piece as a way to leave her mark on these natural blooms.
