Magnolias are a subject I always find my way back to. They feel familiar in the best way; reminding me of home. Painting them always brings me back there.
 

This collection was created with drawing oils. It’s such a fun, expressive medium and it really celebrates every single mark. Nothing is overworked or hidden. You can see the lines, the movement, the little imperfections. It feels honest and a little nostalgic, which is exactly how these magnolias live in my mind.
